The rules governing your purchases on the HorseBuild website.
Article 1 – Purpose and scope
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on this website by consumers. They prevail over any other document. Business customers may contact us for special terms.

Article 3 – Products
The essential characteristics of the products (dimensions, mesh, colours, materials) are shown on each product page. Photos are as accurate as possible; slight variations in shade may exist. The capacities given in our guides are indicative.
Article 4 – Prices
Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes (VAT). Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed and on our page Delivery and returns. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order.
Article 5 – Order
The customer selects their products, checks the contents of their basket and the total amount, then confirms the order and proceeds to payment. An order confirmation is sent by email. The contract is formed upon receipt of this confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse an abnormal order or one placed in bad faith.
Article 6 – Payment
- Bank card, via our secure payment provider Mollie. We do not have access to your banking details.
- Bank transfer: the order is prepared once payment is received. If no payment is received within a reasonable time, it may be cancelled.
Article 7 – Delivery
We deliver to mainland France, to a pick-up point with Mondial Relay or to your home with GLS. Orders are shipped within 48 hours (working days) after payment is confirmed. Delivery costs and conditions are detailed on the page Delivery and returns.
The risk of loss or damage is transferred to the customer when they take physical possession of the products. In the event of a damaged parcel, we invite you to state your reservations to the carrier and to contact us quickly, with photos.
Article 8 – Right of withdrawal
The consumer customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason.
- To exercise it, they inform us of their decision before the period expires, by email to contact@horsebuild.eu or by means of the form in the appendix.
- They return the products, complete and in their original condition, no later than 14 days after informing us of their decision. Return costs are at their expense.
- We refund all sums paid, including the initial delivery costs (based on the standard delivery rate), within 14 days of receiving their decision, using the same means of payment as that used for the order. We may defer the refund until we have received the products or until proof of their dispatch.
- The customer may be held liable for any loss in value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and proper functioning.
Article 9 – Custom-made products
Custom-made flat nets and nets are subject to a quote. The order is firm once the customer has accepted the quote. In accordance with the law, goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised are not subject to the right of withdrawal. The legal guarantees in Article 10 remain applicable.
Article 10 – Legal guarantees
All our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity, for 2 years from delivery, and from the guarantee against hidden defects, under the conditions provided by law. In case of a defect, contact us at contact@horsebuild.eu with your order number and photos: we will offer you a repair, a replacement or a refund, at no cost to you.
Article 11 – Use of the products
Hay nets must be installed and used in accordance with the recommendations in our guide and under the supervision of the animal's owner. We cannot be held liable in the event of improper use, within the limits provided by law.
Article 12 – Personal data
The data collected when ordering is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
Article 13 – Complaints and mediation
For any complaint, contact us first at contact@horsebuild.eu. Failing agreement, the consumer may use the Consumer Mediation Service (Belgium) free of charge or, for a cross-border dispute, the European Consumer Centre of their country.
Article 14 – Applicable law and disputes
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. This choice does not deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts are designated in accordance with the applicable legal rules.
Appendix – Withdrawal form
